Some of the photographs will be displayed at there Inaugural Gala Event on Saturday March 6th, 2010.

It was great to not only see and work with Stephanie again, but also to get to meet so many of the children and staff at Hope's Home. After 3 visits it was clear that it truly is a unique environment that helps so many families in the community. It is a place that embraces each child for who they are, a home that is not only full of hope but filled with joy and love.

It turned out to be a real adventure as we had received about a foot of snow overnight. First we shoveled our way out of the house, then Richard helped push out a neighbors car, and finally we were off. Our friends at the Switch Cities blog are doing a print auction with he hopes of raising as much money as possible to help with relief efforts in Haiti.  We have joined in and donated 4 of our own prints. Richard and I were like kids glued to the computer screen viewing our new film images. We are so excited to share them and can't wait to shoot more film. We just love the look and quality of film images. After Michelle Warren photographed our wedding last year we definitely got the bug to shoot more film, which means we get to add to our collection of film cameras. :)

The photos from this series were taken on a foggy October morning in Southern Saskatchewan, near my parents farm.  Thanks to my dad for being our tour guide ;) These film scans were lightly toned with our new Red Leaf Workflow + Vintage & Antiques action set
